SWAGGER AROUND AT BRAND NEW GR8

It’s been the longest week EVER since one of our most-fave shop in Tokyo GR8 closed for a make-over, and finally it’s back open to surprise us with even greater store space dominated by the best fashion names all around the world.

Popping into the ultra-bling-bling mirror covered floor, we glance the killer-swag from emerging brands such as Astrid Andersen, Nasir Mazhar, Piece d’Anarchive and new addition to the roster Juun J. (kaboom, bam, boom!), along with higher-end labels including Balmain, Balenciaga and Rick Owens.
Don’t forget to say yo to your favorite b-boy shop staff cuties who peddaling GR8est lineups of the day.

Mon-AMI! Alexandre Mattiussi!

Lovely bearded monsieur Alexandre Mattiussi popped into Tokyo’s Dover Street Market a couple of days ago to open a special AMI installation- an airport conveyor belt loaded with pieces from the 2014SS collection of his red hot menswear line. Look out for tropical patterns, camouflage patchwork sweats, and a super exclusive skate board personally customized by the designer. Attention! Its super limited edition. You don’t do skate board? Me neither, nor does Alexandre himself. “It’s for displaying” he laughed.

WHERE’S MY BOY AT?

We are all in love with BOY, one of Tokyo’s favorite vintage outposts, which moved house right across from Shibuya’s Center Street last weekend.

Laid-back Tommy, the owner of the store, has a hardcore eye for 70s and 80s era clothing and music culture, and offers up an abundance of vintage treasures that enthusiasts can’t miss.

Pop into the newly opened boutique and you’ll find a series of genuine ma-1, specially customized leather motorcycle jackets or super rare Seditionaries’ t-shirts.
